Refund policy

This policy explains how charges, cancellations, renewals, billing errors, and refund requests are handled for CovePet subscriptions.

Last updated

Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases. Ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Google handles refunds for Google Play purchases. For a purchase on the web, email hello@covepet.com.

1. Free access and first charge

CovePet Free does not require a card and has no time limit. If you buy CovePet Pro in the iPhone app, the Android app, or on the web, billing starts that day. Apple bills purchases in the iPhone app through your App Store account, Google Play bills purchases in the Android app, and Stripe bills purchases on the web.

2. Cancel before renewal

CovePet settings opens the management flow for the provider that bills your plan. Cancel before the next charge to stop future renewal. Paid access normally continues through the current billing period. Canceling does not automatically refund a completed charge.

3. Refund eligibility

Subscription charges are generally non-refundable once a paid billing period begins. CovePet will provide a refund when required by applicable law. Apple controls App Store charges and refund decisions, so App Store refund requests must be submitted to Apple. Google controls Google Play charges and refund decisions in the same way. For a charge on the web, email CovePet, which reviews the request.

4. Account deletion

Deleting your account immediately ends CovePet access. It does not cancel a subscription; cancel it in Apple’s Settings, in Google Play, or on the web in Account, then Plan, before deleting if you do not want it to renew. Account deletion does not create a refund for unused time unless a refund is required by law.

5. Requesting a billing review

Email hello@covepet.com from the address on your CovePet account if you need help. For an App Store or Google Play charge, use that store’s purchase history and refund request process. Do not send a full card number, security code, password, store receipt, or other payment credentials by email.

Subscription and cancellation terms are also covered in the Terms of service.
